Rustam Mehta

Rustam Mehta is co-founder and principal of GRT Architects, the Brooklyn-based studio he launched with Tal Schori in 2014, working on residential and hospitality renovations as well as product design for manufacturers including ize and KAZA Concrete. He studied architectural history at Brown University and earned a Master of Architecture from Yale. Before founding GRT, he spent seven years as a senior associate at Cesar Pelli's Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, taught at Wesleyan University, and worked as an exhibition designer at the Brooklyn Museum. He and Schori teach a course on historically informed surface embellishment at Columbia University's GSAPP.
