Ryosuke Yazaki

Ryosuke Yazaki is a Tokyo-based sculptor and woodcarver represented in New York by The Future Perfect. Grandson of sculptor Torao Yazaki, he carves clay, terracotta, and Japanese woods such as hinoki and camphor into organic, geode-like forms that begin as computer-generated drawings before being hand-transformed into finished sculpture. His work has shown at The Future Perfect's New York and San Francisco galleries and at M+B in Los Angeles.
