Shaila Rizvi is a New York City-based interior designer with a Master's degree from Parsons School of Design. She is the designer behind SAMA Hospitality's restaurant interiors, including GupShup in Gramercy Park (a 1970s Bombay Parsi-inspired concept she has shaped since its 2018 launch), Bungalow, Chote Miya, and Ammi at Pier 57. Her work spans sourcing custom furnishings and decor, outdoor space design, event installations, and brand identity for each concept.
