Stewart Hoyt is a Brooklyn-based interdisciplinary artist, designer, and builder who has operated his design-build studio from a Bergen Street storefront in Boerum Hill since 2009. Drawing on 25 years of experience as an artist, organic farmer, craftsperson, and ecologically minded builder, he designs and constructs custom work for homes, offices, and other spaces across the NYC area, and has also designed and built an off-grid home in Vermont with gravity-fed water and biological waste-processing systems.
