Thea von Geldern is a principal at Allied Works with over two decades of experience across a range of project scales and geographies. Raised in Hawaii and educated at the University of Oregon and Cornell University, she joined Allied Works in 2004. Her work spans museums, civic institutions, and workplace design, including the Palmer Museum of Art and Fast Retailing's Tokyo headquarters. She leads the firm's JEDI (justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion) initiatives and is active with NOMA's Portland chapter.
