Founder, UBR Studio at Love House

Umberto Bellardi Ricci is a German-Italian architect, sculptor, and designer who has run his studio from the Brooklyn Navy Yard since 2019. Trained in architecture in London and previously based in Ithaca, he creates sculptural furniture and lighting in metal and steel, drawing on industrial forms such as I-beams scaled down for domestic settings. His debut collection, Dawn, was presented at Matter gallery in New York in 2021, and his work is carried by Love House.
