Valerie Schweitzer, AIA, is Principal of Valerie Schweitzer Architects, a Brooklyn-based practice she founded in 2009 focused on LEED Gold multifamily residential projects and experimental pavilions. She previously worked at firms including Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Schweitzer studied architecture and philosophy at Princeton University, where she received the Alexander Guthrie McCosh Prize and the Class of 1869 Prize in Ethics, and earned a Master of Architecture with high distinction from UCLA. She was named to Architizer's 100 Women to Watch in Architecture in 2021.
