Brooklyn Navy Yard design-build studio making custom furniture and fine millwork, founded in 2016 by Joseph Cleghorn and Connor Moxam. The practice ranges from restrained classical case goods, tables, and consoles to experimental, material-driven pieces worked in resin and metallic finishes, and collaborates with ceramist Peter Lane on select works. The roughly 7,500-square-foot workshop employs about ten craftspeople who complete close to 100 bespoke, largely handmade pieces a year, working almost entirely on commission with Northeast-sourced woods including white oak, walnut, maple, and teak, along with select exotic veneers. Pieces are sold through dealers including 1stDibs and Incollect.
