Cold Picnic

Cold Picnic is a home textiles studio founded in 2010 by Phoebe Sung and Peter Buer, based in Ridgewood, Queens. The pair design original wool rugs, hand-tufted bathmats, blankets, and wallpaper with bold, illustrative patterns, working with artisan weavers in India and a family-owned New Jersey manufacturer for their knit blankets. The line began as a series of art and apparel side projects before growing into a full home-goods collection, with designs drawing on film, nature, and mythology for their color and imagery. Cold Picnic's work has been covered in the New York Times, Architectural Digest, and New York Magazine.
