Manhattan architectural lighting design firm founded in 1991 by Renée Cooley, joined the following year by Emily Monato; the practice adopted the Cooley Monato Studio name around 2000. The firm designs and specifies interior and exterior architectural lighting, custom fixtures, and control systems for retail, hospitality, cultural, and residential projects, with clients including Tiffany & Co., Bergdorf Goodman, and the Waldorf Astoria.
