Creativo Design Studio

Brooklyn textile and surface design studio based in Sunset Park's Industry City complex, founded in 2008 by creative director Alex Ortiz together with brand strategist Danny Naz. The studio produces original prints and patterns — CAD-based and hand-painted — for apparel, swim, sleepwear, home furnishing, and paper-goods brands, drawing on a roster of contributing designers to build a print library used by retailers and manufacturers worldwide. Alongside custom design work, Creativo offers trend forecasting and design consulting, publishes a recurring home-furnishings trend report, and has exhibited at trade shows including Heimtextil in Frankfurt and New York's Design BLOC Show.
