Upper East Side rug gallery founded in 1965, primarily known as a dealer in antique and vintage Oriental and Western carpets. The gallery also runs a custom rug program, developing hand-woven pieces made in Tibet to a client's size, palette, and material specifications for residential and commercial interiors. How much of the custom output reflects original in-house design versus customization of existing patterns is not fully documented.
