Front Design

Stockholm design studio founded in 2004, today led by Anna Lindgren and Sofia Lagerkvist, known for conceptual, process-driven furniture and objects that expose the story behind how a piece is made -- assigning parts of production to animals, machines, or chance events such as explosions. The studio's work is held in the permanent collections of MoMA, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Centre Pompidou, and is represented in New York by Friedman Benda gallery.
