HLB Lighting Design is an architectural lighting design firm headquartered at 38 East 32nd Street in Manhattan, one of nine studios worldwide. Founded in New York in 1968 as Jules G. Horton Lighting Design and later known as Horton Lees Brogden, the women-owned firm is led by president Teal Brogden and CEO Carrie Hawley. Services span electric lighting, daylighting, controls, and custom luminaire design for large-scale commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects.
