Brooklyn-based design studio founded in 2009 by Oliver Haslegrave, who left a career in fiction editing to start the firm with his brother Evan (the name combines the founders' initials with those of their sisters). Known for its detail-driven, hands-on approach to hospitality design, the studio has shaped some of Brooklyn's most recognized bars and restaurants, including Tørst, Alameda, Ramona, Manhattan Inn, Paulie Gee's, and Sisters; Tørst was named best designed bar in North and South America at the 2014 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards. Since Evan's departure in 2016, Oliver Haslegrave has directed the studio's expanded hospitality, hotel, residential, and retail practice.
