Jason Miller Studio

Jason Miller Studio is the independent design practice of Jason Miller, founder of lighting brand Roll & Hill, operating in New York since 2001. The studio designs furniture, lighting fixtures, and home objects, including the Superordinate Antler chandelier collection, the Elliot chair, and Classon cabinets. Miller holds an MFA in painting from the New York Academy of Art and worked in sculptor Jeff Koons's studio, with designer Karim Rashid, and as an art director at the advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather before establishing his own practice. His Superordinate Antler Collection, introduced in 2003, anticipated the rustic-chic aesthetic that followed in American design. In 2010 Miller founded Roll & Hill, a separate Brooklyn-based lighting company that has since grown to include work by other designers such as Lindsey Adelman and Bec Brittain.
