Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) was founded in New York in 1976 by A. Eugene Kohn, William Pedersen, and Sheldon Fox after leaving John Carl Warnecke & Associates. Early commissions for ABC and later for AT&T and Procter & Gamble established the firm as a leading corporate architecture practice, which later expanded into institutional, government, and transportation work worldwide. KPF's New York portfolio includes One Vanderbilt beside Grand Central Terminal and 10 and 30 Hudson Yards.
