Storied decorating firm founded by the late Mark Hampton, an influential figure in American classicism, and led since 1998 by his daughter Alexa Hampton as owner and president. Under her direction the firm has carried forward Mark Hampton's elegant, classically based approach to interiors for a contemporary clientele, with projects ranging from Manhattan apartments and Hamptons houses to private aircraft, yachts, and international commissions as far as Hangzhou, China. Alexa Hampton is the author of 'Alexa Hampton: The Language of Interior Design.'
