Fabrication WorkshopEst. 1977Sculpture studio at Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, founded by Ivan Schwartz in 1977 and now also led by Elliot Schwartz, who joined as partner in the early 1980s. Creates bronze sculpture, lifelike museum figures, portrait sculpture, and public monuments for museums, presidential libraries, sports halls of fame, and corporate and institutional clients nationwide, combining traditional sculptural methods with digital fabrication and 3D scanning. Notable commissions include a bronze John F. Kennedy figure for the Kennedy Center's 50th anniversary, the Virginia Women's Monument at the state capitol, work for the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, and pieces for the NASCAR Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. The studio's archive is held at the Briscoe Center for American History at the University of Texas at Austin.
