Aaron B. Schwarz

Aaron B. Schwarz, FAIA, is Principal and Managing Director of Plan A, the New York architecture firm he founded in 2015, serving as principal-in-charge on all projects. He has more than 40 years of experience designing new buildings, renovations, and large-scale urban planning projects. Before founding Plan A, he was a senior principal and founding executive director at Perkins Eastman, leading its global higher-education practice, and earlier a Managing and Design Principal at Perkins+Will. His work includes higher-education buildings at Cornell University, Columbia University, and New York City College of Technology. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University (1980).
