Agnes Liptak

Manhattan-based decorative-finishes artist and founder/president of Fresco Decorative Arts, a NoHo specialty finishing firm she established in 1991. Trained at Cornell University and L'Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris, Liptak produces custom plaster and decorative finishes for residential interiors, retail spaces, and cultural institutions. The firm's artisans work in traditional Venetian plaster, gilding, and glazing techniques extended into contemporary applications, with production studios in Long Island City and the Berkshires supporting the NoHo showroom. Fresco's finishes have been commissioned through interior designers including Stephen Sills and Elliot Barnes Interiors, and its work has been featured multiple times in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and Interior Design magazine.
