Akiko Kyei-Aboagye

Akiko Kyei-Aboagye, AIA, LEED AP, is a Partner at Urban Architectural Initiatives (UAI) in Manhattan, which she joined in February 2006 before being named a principal in January 2014. With nearly two decades of experience, she manages projects ranging from large developments to smaller residential renovations, leads UAI's architectural review work for New York State's Homeless Housing Assistance Program, and has repeatedly served on the Technical Committee for Accessibility advancing NYC Building Code updates. Her project work includes the Home Simpson Apartments in the Bronx, 778 Myrtle Residence in Brooklyn, and the Wanda Patterson Residence/Robert C. Wood Apartments in Queens.
