
Alessandro Preda
ArchitectFounding Principal at Alepreda Architecture
Alessandro Preda is founding principal of Alepreda Architecture, based in Brooklyn's Navy Yard. Originally from Brescia, Italy, he holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard's Graduate School of Design and a degree in economics and management from Bocconi University. He spent six years as an architect at Deborah Berke Partners before founding his own studio, working on the conversion of landmarked buildings into art spaces and boutique hotels as well as ground-up residential projects, including House of Courtyards in upstate New York. He is a registered architect licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, an AIA member, and also founded miduny, a furniture brand made with Italian artisans.
