Founder of Sandy Smith Studio, a Bushwick, Brooklyn fine-art fabrication studio established in 2014 that partners with artists, galleries, and museums from concept through fabrication and installation. The 4,500-square-foot production space works in wood, steel, brass, bronze, and aluminum, using CNC routing, laser cutting, waterjet profiling, casting, and prototyping to realize sculpture, custom framing, and display projects. Smith holds a sculpture degree from Glasgow School of Art and an MFA from Columbia University.
