Amy Shakespeare, AIA, LEED AP, is a founding principal of Shakespeare Gordon Studio, a Brooklyn-based New York City architecture practice she founded as Redtop Architects in 2003 (known as Shakespeare, Gordon, Vlado: Architects from 2017 to 2023). She began her career in 1994 working on educational, institutional, and cultural projects in Washington, D.C. and New York, and joined Mitchell/Giurgola Architects in 1998, where she served as project architect and manager on large-scale institutional work. She became a certified passive house consultant in 2012 and completed the first EnerPhit-certified passive house renovation in New York City.
