Andrea Hartranft is the founder and principal of Hartranft Lighting Studios (HLS), an architectural lighting and controls design firm headquartered in Charlotte, NC that maintains an active New York City office among its multi-city network. A Fellow of the International Association of Lighting Designers (FIALD) and a past IALD president, she leads a practice focused on commercial, institutional, hospitality, and experiential lighting design. In 2026 she received the EdisonReport Lifetime Achievement Award at Parsons School of Design.
