Andrew Baccon

Long Island City-based fabricator and co-founder of Tietz-Baccon, a digital fabrication studio he established with Erik Tietz in 2007. The firm provides CNC milling and routing, laser cutting, and waterjet cutting for architecture, art, and design clients, translating conceptual designs into buildable production. Notable commissions include tactile Corian wall panels and screens for Diane von Furstenberg's Saks Fifth Avenue showroom, patterned elements for the VIP entrance at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, an events timeline milled in richlite for Madison Square Garden, and roughly 2,000 engraved Corian tiles for the National Academy Museum's donor ceiling. The studio also built Machinemade, an online platform for configuring fabrication services and materials, developed with digital studio RockPaperRobot.
