Principal at Lumen Architecture PLLC

Attila Uysal is a principal at Lumen Architecture PLLC, a Manhattan lighting design firm he joined in 2019 after 17 years as a partner at SBLD. With more than 25 years of practice in New York City, he works on interior, exterior, and historic-restoration lighting, custom fixture design, and daylighting analysis, drawing on architectural training and an industrial design background. He teaches at the New York School of Interior Design, serves as a visiting critic at Parsons, and is the 2026 treasurer of the IESNYC board of managers.
