Barbora Žilinskaitė

Brussels-based designer, born 1996 in Kaunas, Lithuania and trained in product and spatial design at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Zilinskaite makes sculptural furniture from reclaimed sawdust, ply, pigment, and concrete, exploring bodily, anatomical forms meant to provoke unusual emotional and physical interactions with everyday objects. Her work is held in the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Represented in New York and Los Angeles by Friedman Benda gallery.
