Brian Orter founded BOLD (Brian Orter Lighting Design), an architectural lighting design firm headquartered in Manhattan with additional studios in California and Indonesia. His practice traces to theatrical lighting work at New York nightclubs including the Tunnel and Limelight, and today spans hospitality, residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. BOLD holds memberships in the Designers Lighting Forum of New York and the IALD.
