Carol Maryan

Carol Maryan is founder and principal architect of Carol Maryan Architects, PC, a Manhattan-based practice she started in 1983 after working at Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates and Swanke Hayden Connell and Partners. Her firm serves private clients, corporations, developers, and public entities across the United States, and she established the firm's Kids' Digs division for designing children's spaces. Maryan won a 1977 statewide competition to design the Architectural Center for the Indiana Society of Architects and was first runner-up in the 1982 Vietnam Memorial design competition. Her work has been featured in Traditional Home, Country Home, Better Homes and Gardens, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times.
