Claire Weisz

Claire Weisz, FAIA, is a Founding Principal of WXY architecture + urban design, the New York firm she co-founded with Mark Yoes in 1998. Her work spans architecture, urban design, and planning, including SeaGlass Carousel at The Battery, the Spring Street Salt Shed and Sanitation Garage, and the Rockaway Boardwalk. She holds a degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Architecture from Yale University, received the AIA New York Medal of Honor in 2018, and was elected a National Academician in 2020.
