Dan Wood

Dan Wood, originally from Rhode Island, is a principal and co-founder of WORKac, the New York architecture firm he started with Amale Andraos in 2003 after directing OMA's New York office. He is a licensed architect in New York, Rhode Island, and Colorado, LEED certified, and a former Vice President for Design Excellence of the AIA New York Chapter. He has taught at Columbia GSAPP and Yale School of Architecture and held the Frank Gehry International Visiting Chair at the University of Toronto. His WORKac projects include the Blaffer Museum Expansion and the RISD Student Success Center, and he has co-authored four books with Andraos, including "Buildings for People and Plants."
