Dana Barnes

New York textile and fiber artist working from a former synagogue studio on the Lower East Side, occupied since 2013. Barnes hand-forms sculptural rugs, vessels, and site-specific installations by fusing wool and exotic fibers with concrete, stone, wood, and metal through techniques including felting, braiding, and wet bonding. Represented by R & Company, her work has shown at the Museum of Arts and Design and TEFAF New York.
