Gallery & ShowroomEst. 1997R & Company is a Tribeca gallery specializing in 20th- and 21st-century collectible design, founded in 1997 by Zesty Meyers and Evan Snyderman as R 20th Century. The gallery represents historical and contemporary furniture and object designers, mounts exhibitions, and maintains a design archive of works produced from 1945 to today. Represented designers include Wendell Castle, Rogan Gregory, the Haas Brothers, Roberto Lugo, and Jeff Zimmerman, and the gallery maintains a library and archive of roughly 10,000 items spanning 1900 to the present. Meyers and Snyderman also played a role in founding and growing the Design Miami fair, and the gallery operates a second exhibition space nearby in Tribeca along with a warehouse at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
