Ceramic artist known for reviving 15th-century Korean celadon glazing techniques, splitting his time between Seoul and Los Angeles. Lee holds a BFA and MFA in ceramic sculpture from Hongik University, a second MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute, and a PhD in architecture; his hand-built, multi-glazed ceramic pieces, sometimes combined with concrete and steel, are represented in New York by R & Company gallery.
