Amber Cowan

Philadelphia-based glass artist who transforms recycled and antique pressed American glass into sculptural assemblages using flameworking, hot sculpting, and glassblowing. A Tyler School of Art and Architecture MFA and faculty member there since 2011, she holds a 2021 United States Artists Fellowship and a 2014 Rakow Commission from the Corning Museum of Glass. Her work is in the Museum of Arts and Design (New York) collection, and she is currently represented by the New York gallery R & Company; she is not based in New York.
