David Bott

David Bott, PE, SE, AIA, is a Principal at Heintges Consulting Architects & Engineers, a New York building-envelope consulting firm, which he joined in 2006. He specializes in building facades, curtain wall, and structural glass, and has developed structural solutions for custom enclosure systems including cable nets, tensioned membranes, and ultra-high-performance concrete. He teaches building systems integration at Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation and holds bachelor's degrees in civil engineering and architecture from Carnegie Mellon University and a master's in civil engineering from Columbia University.
