Ferréol Babin

French designer born in Dijon in 1987, working from a self-built rural studio in the French countryside after training in architecture in France and Japan and completing a design residency at Fabrica in Treviso, Italy. Self-taught in woodworking, Babin hand-carves furniture, lighting, and sculptural objects primarily from oak and ash gathered near his workshop, sometimes paired with stoneware made from local clay. His work is represented in New York by Friedman Benda gallery, which presented his solo exhibition 'In a Landscape' in 2026.
