Francois de Menil is Founder and Principal of Francois de Menil Architect (FdM:Arch), a New York studio he established in 1991 working on residential, commercial, institutional, and retail projects. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Cooper Union's Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture in 1987 and previously worked at Richard Meier & Partners and Kohn Pedersen Fox. He is a member of the AIA College of Fellows and a LEED Accredited Professional. His work includes the Byzantine Fresco Chapel Museum in Houston, the Shorthand House in Houston, Bottega Veneta retail locations, and the Seneca Art & Culture Center.
