Founding Partner at Walters-Storyk Design Group

John Storyk is a registered architect and acoustician and Founding Partner of Walters-Storyk Design Group (WSDG), which he co-founded with Beth Walters roughly 35 years ago; the firm now operates across five continents. His career began at age 22 designing the experimental New York nightclub Cerebrum, which drew the attention of Jimi Hendrix, leading to his design of Electric Lady Studios in 1969, a recording studio that remains operational today. He has since designed recording and listening spaces for more than five decades, emphasizing that acoustic performance, architecture, and aesthetics should function together.
