Julian King

Julian King, AIA, LEED AP, is founding partner of julian king architect, established in 2004 and based in Brooklyn. He holds a B.Arch from Cornell University, where he studied under Colin Rowe. Before founding his practice, he worked with Richard Meier on the Getty Center and Museum of Television and Radio, with Todd Dalland on tensile fabric structures, and with Rafael Vinoly on Princeton's Carl Icahn Laboratory. His work includes a finalist entry for the MLK Jr. Memorial Design Competition and first prize in the 2009 Shinkenchiku Residential Competition. He was named an emerging architect by Architectural Record in 2010 and is an adjunct professor at FIT's School of Interior Design.
