Lakbir Mahajan is the founder of LDesign LLC (Lakbir Design), an interior design and drapery studio based in Scarsdale, NY. Trained in interior design at Parsons School of Design in New York, she formally established her practice in 2015 after two decades working with fabric and textiles for interiors, and now creates custom linen drapery and upholstery in collaboration with artisans in India.
