Lindsay Smith, AIA, LEED AP, is a Principal at Smith-Miller + Hawkinson Architects in New York, which she joined in 2000. She manages and designs major civic and institutional projects for universities, the U.S. General Services Administration, and the New York City Department of Design and Construction. She led the design team for the Ohio State University Energy Advancement and Innovation Center, featuring a photovoltaic-canopy envelope and DC microgrid, and the Fort Totten Training Academies master plan in Queens. She holds a Bachelor's in Architectural History from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design.
