Textile Artist at Superhouse

Maris Van Vlack (b. 2002, Boston) is a New York-based textile artist working across weaving, knitting, and paint. Her large-scale tapestries layer hand-weaving with painted, stitched, and jacquard-woven marks, drawing on architectural ruins and family photographs to explore memory and landscape. A Rhode Island School of Design textiles graduate, she has exhibited at NADA New York and FOG Design+Art, and is represented in New York by Superhouse gallery.
