Mark Gardner

Mark Gardner is a principal of Jaklitsch/Gardner Architects (J/GA) in New York, which he co-leads with Stephan Jaklitsch since the firm's founding in 1998. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. Gardner is Associate Professor of Architectural Practice and Society at Parsons School of Design and previously taught professional practice at PennDesign. He was elected a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects in 2020 and serves as 2026 President-Elect of AIA New York.
