Matt Berman

Matt Berman is a Founding Principal of Workshop/APD, which he co-founded in New York in 1999. He leads the firm's growing hospitality practice, working on modern hotels and restaurants, and views the built environment as an active participant in the lives of its inhabitants. His work at Workshop/APD includes the redevelopment of Building 92 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, and he pursues advances in construction technology and materials across the firm's projects.
