Michael Squarzini

Michael J. Squarzini is Co-CEO of Thornton Tomasetti, based in New York, providing strategic, operational, and financial leadership for the firm since 2020. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College and an M.S. in Structural Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Recruited by the firm out of college, he has more than 25 years of experience in structural analysis and design across sports venues, commercial buildings, and education and healthcare facilities, including key roles on Yankee Stadium, 10 Hudson Yards, and 30 Hudson Yards in New York City. He is past president of the Structural Engineers Association of New York and has taught at Cornell, Princeton, and Manhattan College.
