Mishi Hosono

Mishi Hosono is a founder and principal of Koko Architecture + Design in New York. She completed undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania and grew up attending an international school in Tokyo. Earlier in her career she worked in the Tokyo offices of Team Zoo and Edward Suzuki, and later at Peter Marino Architects and Tsao & McKown Architects in New York. She is a licensed architect in New York and a member of the American Institute of Architects, and teaches in the Japan Summer Studio as an Associate Professor at the New York Institute of Technology.
