Natalie Shook

Brooklyn-based artist and designer who founded Piscina, an artist-run design studio, showroom, and workshop collective in Red Hook housing roughly 40 makers working in wood, metal, and ceramics. A Cooper Union-trained painter, Shook creates sculptural furniture -- oak shelving, carved wood tables, and cast and ceramic objects -- treating each piece as part of a continuing, unfinished process. Her debut collection won Best New Designer and Best in Show at ICFF in 2022.
